YEAR 7 BARCELONA TRIP 2012
Please can you ensure you have applied for your child's EHIC card. If you have had this for a while, please ensure it is still in date. Please note there is no charge for this card. Once you have received your child's EHIC card, please can you send it in to the School Office for the attention of Mrs Riley. Thank you.
The first meeting with parents will be held on Thursday 17th May at 5.30pm in the Main School Hall.
YEAR 9 OPTIONS BOOKLET
Following the recent Year 9 Option Evening the Options booklet is available on the Parent Tab for you to download or you can find it on the Parent Tab of Lacon Childe's Shropshire Learning Gateway page.
YEAR 10 PARENTS' EVENING
The Year 10 Parent's Evening is due to take place on Thursday 23rd February from 5.30pm. Letters and reports have been sent out so that appointments can be booked with subject and form teachers as required.
YEAR 5 TASTER DAY - FRIDAY 9TH MARCH 9AM to 3.15PM
A day for any Year 5 pupils who are thinking of choosing Lacon Childe as a secondary school in September 2013. This is a fun packed event for pupils to have the opportunity to take part in a variety of different curriculum activities. If your child is interested in attending please contact the School Office who will provide details of the day. Anyone interested should register by Friday 10th February at the latest.
SCHOOL PRODUCTION
The School Production, "Our Day Out" by Willy Russell will be performed on the evenings of Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd March. More details to follow but tickets can be purchased from the School Office.
