We look forward to seeing you there. #represent #commitment
A huge congratulations to Year 7 for continuing to make such a fantastic start at Lacon and truly making every day count. Today, Year 7 finished the day with an outstanding 97.64% attendance rate and achieved zero late arrivals to lessons.
Well done, Year 7 – keep up the excellent work! 👏 #Commitment
TUESDAY NETBALL! Another fantastic fixture, this time for Year 9 girls away at Tenbury.
Well done to our Lacon girls who won their games against Ludlow and QE ‘yellow’, but sadly lost against Tenbury and QE ‘reds’.
Players’ Player votes went to Emily, Grace and Holly. MVP to Emily. #represent

We are looking forward to welcoming @manny.s.kang from @national.rail to speak with our Year 7 and Year 10 students about the importance of railway safety.
As part of our commitment to PSHE and Character Academy, Manny will share valuable messages about staying safe, making responsible choices, and understanding the real-life importance of railway awareness.
Alongside this essential safety education, we always appreciate Manny’s inspiring message about the value of hard work, resilience, and commitment in all areas of life. These are qualities that help our students grow into confident, responsible, and successful young people.
We look forward to an engaging and thought-provoking session for our students.
All students attended an attendance assembly led by Miss Warrington last week. Throughout this half term, and beyond, we will be placing a strong focus on the importance of both attendance and punctuality. Students have made an excellent start, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring that every day truly matters. #Commitment #everydaymatters
Achievement Announcement…
Jack, Will and Ruudi from our under 15’s team have been selected to join the Gloucester Rugby Foundation Phase Academy pathway.
This is a fantastic achievement for the boys
particularly given the highly competitive nature of this year’s selection process with over 500 players being assessed during the three trial days.
Well Done Boys 👏 #represent #ambition
A fantastic start to fixtures for our netball and rugby teams this week! Our Year 11/10 rugby boys won their friendly tournament against Ludlow, Tenbury and Queen Elizabeth. And well done to Year 10 girls who performed well at their friendly tournament against Ludlow and Tenbury, overall coming second, MVP Nancy P. #represent #lovelacon
