CELEBRATING SUCCESS
TEACHING AND LEARNING
The mock trial team has been busy with the final preparations for the competition on Saturday 21st at Worcester Magistrates’ Court. The case they have been working on is the theft of a mobile phone. After weeks of preparing questions and speeches, and perfecting their court etiquette, the team is ready to do battle with other schools in a real courtroom. It has been wonderful to see them grow in confidence and to see their use of language and thinking skills develop into the world of law. They have shown great commitment and are really excited to perform on Saturday. Wish them all lots of luck! #Represent #lovelacon ...

We wanted to thank any members of the public who stopped and gave up their time to answer any questions. #Laconme #lovelacon ...

We have an exciting challenge ahead for Year 11 over the next two weeks!
From Monday 16th March to Friday 23rd March, students will work together to earn a total of 1500 A1s. If they hit the target, they will earn a PHOTOBOOTH at their Year 11 Prom!
Students can earn A1s by demonstrating our core values:
#commitment – consistent effort, attendance, and determination
#integrity – honesty, responsibility, and doing the right thing
#ambition – striving for excellence and aiming high
#creativity – thinking differently and showing originality
Let’s go, Year 11—show us what you can do! We believe in you!

Year 10 Mock Examinations – 13th to 24th April.
Year 10 students will be sitting mock examinations in all subjects from Monday 13th April to Friday 24th April. During this two‑week period, all lessons in school will be dedicated to revision, and any homework set will focus specifically on supporting students’ preparation for these assessments.
It is essential that students use this time effectively to revise and consolidate their learning so they can perform at their best. These mock examinations provide a valuable opportunity to practise exam skills, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence ahead of future assessments.
