The PTA is made-up by a group of volunteers (parents and carers) who work hard each year to fundraise for extra items and events to enrich the learning experience of the pupils at Lacon Childe School.

Each year we help to run and organise the Borders Classic Bike Show and this year it will take place on Sunday 22nd September 2024. Last year it raised £3800, of which 10% was donated to the Air Ambulance. We continue to run an on-line school lottery and we also have an easyfundraising page which is a simple way to raise funds when doing your on-line shopping, and have regular Rags 2 Riches collections and other fundrasing events throughout the year.

Rags 2 Riches

 Our next Rags to Riches collection is Tuesday 19th November 2024. Bags of donated clothes can be left at school reception (during open hours) from after October half term until 9am on 19th November.
